RE: First attempt to print RepWalker
Thank you Sho for this warm words.
Today I designed the support frame as connection to an optional building platform. I did not use Sho's given distances - so Shellmo shell will not fit to this points. Additional I designed two variants of bumpers. A short and a long one. On this you can mount all kind of sensors, frames etc. ![]() Tomorrow I will travel to Berlin with my family. At Saturday I will design an Ardunio Uno frame and than publish the stl files. Rainer http://www.steamboating.de |

Are you going to publish this as a "remix" of the repwalker on Thingiverse? I think this might be the best way to go about crediting Sho's work as well as you retaining credit for your work in making it print friendly? Publishing to thingiverse is good, especially if we build each other things where possible because so many things have "0 made" and its really hard to get that first person to take the risk of making something, but after that people are more inclined to make something that has "turned out". As soon as you publish it will be throwing it on my printer! Ordering servos in anticipation today! |

And than it would be great - as you mentioned - if you would tell "the world" that you have made it... The question is at which positions the drive shaft is located in relation to the mounting screws. If this differs to much to the servos I have used something might not fit. For this I should make a more variable design or at least a design without any holes to enable the end user to drill this holes as necessary. Rainer http://www.steamboating.de |
