using more than one BT module with your phone
Hello Sho,
after your parcel arrived I have 8 BT modules on my desk now. All of them got an individual name so that I can distinguish them. My Android phone and my Nexus 7 tablet are able to see all of them. I am also able to establish a connection via the Android settings menu and the BT module pass word. Now the problem is to connect from your Android app to the BT modules. This sometimes work and sometimes don't. After playing 1 hour with this, I am still not able to find a systematic solution for this. Even to switch off the phone and the BT modules don't cure this. Your app don't allow the user to choose from a list of BT modules - or did I miss something? So maybe there is some internal selection algorithm which can't deal with different modules? Any help would be appreciated. It would be fine if you could make the app code public or at least send it to me. BTW In my own qick and dirty (simple and stupid) BT app I have to type in the long BT ID like 20:14:04:02:32:04 before I can make a connection. Rainer http://www.steamboating.de |

RE: using more than one BT module with your phone
Hello Rainer,
Normally, you can select bluetooth devices from MenuButton->Connect a device - Secure. You mean this ? And, This apps memory the last connected device and connect it automatically when app start. |
