Adventures in the land of Pick and Place
This thread will document my trials in pick and place of components on a PCB. I use a tweezer at the moment but its very slow and requires a lot of patience.

My plan is to first build this "Manual Pick and Place Machine" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:385567 which I think will speed up things a bit (though still a manual process Wink I don't have the resources at the moment to take on an automated project, but hopefully early next year I can start thinking about that.

RE: Adventures in the land of Pick and Place
I love such DIY projects!

I agree that the manual PaP might be much easier with such a machine and for small batches even faster than with an automated version because you are much more flexible and have your vision system direct coupled to your head. If you need any turned or milled parts i would be glad to make them for you - but you have a 3D printern for this ;-)
